We offer a refuge and assistance center for families and children facing childhood cancer. Our staff provides emotional support and access to updated resources to help families navigate the challenges they encounter. We understand that unexpected hospital stays can happen, which is why we provide emergency overnight kits to ensure families have essential items during their stay.
We also provide a wealth of community resources and information on childhood cancer. Our goal is to connect families with the support networks, organizations, and services available to them. Additionally, we offer toys, snacks, and new patient bags that are regularly updated with relevant resources to provide comfort and support to children and their families during their treatment journey.
We provide a convenient rolling travel bag designed for frequent hospital visits. This bag allows families to transport essential items and supplies during their hospital stays easily.
Inside the bag, families will find valuable information about childhood cancer. This includes books, journals, and a binder filled with tips and advice from experienced parents who have been through similar journeys.
Toiletry items are also included in the bag to ensure families have the necessary personal care products during their hospital visits. This includes items like shampoo, soap, lip balm, hand lotion, soft tissues, hand sanitizer, q-tips, and more.
We understand the importance of having essential items on hand. That’s why the bag contains items that have been specifically requested by parents, families, and hospital staff. This includes pill organizers, pill crushers, thermometers, wet wipes, pens, post-it notes, highlighters, and other practical items that can be of great help during the hospital stay.
For the comfort and entertainment of the children, we provide age-appropriate additional toys such as an Etch-a-Sketch, pillow pet, and blanket.
In recognition of the digital needs of families, we also include Amazon Fire Tablets in the bag. These tablets provide access to educational content, entertainment, and connectivity, helping to make the hospital stay more engaging and enjoyable for the children.
We appreciate any donations of those items to offset costs.
These items in the rolling travel bag aim to provide practical support, comfort, and entertainment to families during their hospital visits and stays.

Who doesn’t love snacks? We are excited to bring a bit of joy and comfort to the children, families, and staff at our hospital. Our goal is to provide a variety of delicious snacks that cater to different preferences and dietary needs.
By offering these snacks, we hope to create moments of respite and enjoyment for the children and their families during their hospital stays or outpatient visits. We also recognize the hard work and dedication of our hospital staff, and we want to provide them with convenient and tasty options to help fuel their demanding schedules.
We extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your support and commitment to the well-being of our patients and their families. Together, we can make a difference and create a nurturing and comforting atmosphere for our kids and their families.
