Events
The Childhood Cancer Coalition is dedicated to a distinctive mission: providing comprehensive support to families navigating childhood cancer treatments and assisting them in rebuilding their lives after cancer. Our organization brings together individuals who have personally experienced the challenges of childhood cancer, ensuring a deep understanding of the journey.
By donating, you can significantly impact the lives of children with cancer and their families. Your contribution will enable us to offer emotional and practical support, educational resources, patient advocacy, and, most importantly, the reassurance that no child or family will ever face cancer alone. Together, we can enhance the well-being and resilience of these courageous children and their loved ones.
Join us in our commitment to creating a light amid the darkest hours for children battling cancer.
Your support truly makes a difference.

We will be holding a private retreat for parents whose children did not survive their cancer diagnosis. This retreat is a sacred space, created to honor grief, foster connection, and offer compassionate support to parents navigating one of life’s most difficult paths.
Through guided reflection, shared conversation, and restorative practices, parents will have the opportunity to connect with others who understand their loss, explore coping tools, and find moments of rest and renewal. Above all, this retreat is about being held in community—where stories are honored, hearts are witnessed, and no one has to grieve alone.
- This retreat is offered with deep care and confidentiality.
- Registration is limited to ensure an intimate and supportive environment.
- Details will be shared directly with participating families.
- Facilitated by trained grief-support professionals.

Welcome to our campaign, “Make Your Town Glow Gold”, in support of childhood cancer awareness. Childhood cancer is a challenging journey for both children and their families, and it’s crucial that we raise awareness and show our support. Together, we can make a difference in our local community by becoming strong childhood cancer advocates. Let’s promote the color gold and bring attention to this important cause. We even have gold ribbon awareness pins available to help spread the message.
Engage the Local Community:
- To Make a Meaningful Impact: We need the support of our local community. Reach out to local businesses, schools, community centers, and government organizations to share the importance of childhood cancer awareness. Encourage them to participate by displaying gold ribbons, organizing events, or even lighting up buildings in gold.
- Organize Awareness Events: Host events that highlight childhood cancer and its impact on families. Consider organizing a gold-themed fundraising walk, a community fair, or a gold ribbon pinning ceremony. These events can help raise funds for childhood cancer research and support programs while bringing people together to show their solidarity.
- Spread the Word on Social Media: Harness the power of social media to create awareness. Share stories of children battling cancer, survivor stories, and information about the disease. Encourage others to share their own experiences or reasons for supporting childhood cancer awareness. Use hashtags like #MakeYourTownGlowGold, #ChildhoodCancerAwareness, #childhoodcancerawarenessmonth, or #glowgoldforkids to amplify your message.
- Distribute Gold Ribbon Awareness Pins: Gold ribbon awareness pins are a tangible symbol of support for childhood cancer. Distribute them to individuals, organizations, and businesses in your community. Encourage people to wear them proudly to show their support and spark conversations about childhood cancer awareness.
- Partner with Local Media: Reach out to local newspapers, radio stations, and TV channels to share your campaign and events. Seek opportunities for interviews, articles, or public service announcements to spread the message to a broader audience. Collaboration with local media can significantly increase the visibility of your campaign.
Together, we can make a lasting impact on childhood cancer awareness by “making your town glow gold.” By working together, we can create a stronger support system for children with cancer and their families.
Let’s raise awareness, advocate for better treatments and support, and show these children that they are not alone in their fight. Thank you for joining us in this important campaign.
